The EYFS Framework:

The EYFS Framework is made up of 7 areas of Learning and Development;

All areas of Learning and Development are linked to one another and are equally important in the development of Children.

The 7 areas of learning are:
3 prime areas

• Physical
• Personal: social and emotional
• Communication and language

4 specific areas of learning

• Literacy
• Mathematics
• Expressive art & design
• Knowledge and understanding of the world
