EXCELLENT CHILDCARE AND EDUCATION
We are situated on the 1st floor of The Rivergate centre, we offer dedicated childcare and early education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Conveniently located in Barking, the nursery has close transport links and is walking distance to Barking Station, making us a convenient setting for commuting parents.
EYFS CURRICULUM
Stemming from the EYFS curriculum, and Ofsted framework - we focus on activities with exciting learning opportunities tailored for children’s personal needs from 3months to 5years based on each child’s individual age and stage of learning and development.
Our structured approach enables children with essential skills, building confidence and independence in a fun, supportive environment. Enabling children are ready to thrive in their most valuable early years whilst preparing for their next big step- ‘school readiness’.
Children have access to our wonderful outdoor space, a purpose built all-weather garden where your child can make new discoveries, get fresh air, and explore at their own pace throughout the day, we encourage and foster the love of learning in all environments and in all weathers, Children will often get to explore indoor activities- outdoor. Whilst always having access to sand and water play as well as our outdoor mud kitchen, planting patch and play house with reading area, or riding trikes and playing on the slide- your child is bound to improve on their gross motor skills.

Before your child joins our setting we will get you set up on our online platform- Tapestry. We will share communication I.e general daily feedback via this platform including pictures of your child’s day at the nursery. We also encourage parents to share home experiences and child’s development as a form of building parent partnership. Our nursery manager often will post memos and posts for keeping parents updated with important nursery information. We also offer settling in sessions prior to child’s start date, to ease the process of settling for your child and of course for parents.
